SpringTide saw incredible success at the Fast Growth 50 Awards on Friday evening. Not only did we bring home the award for the ‘Fastest Growing Firm in Professional and Financial Services’, but we were also announced as the ‘2nd Fastest Growing Company in Wales’!
Fast Growth 50 celebrates the fastest growing businesses within Wales over the last 12 months, and with a staggering 200,000 businesses in Wales, being announced as the 2nd fastest growing is an achievement we are all incredibly proud of.
The Fast Growth 50 project has been highlighting the wealth of business success within Wales for over 15 years, and has become one of the most established and exciting recognitions a Welsh business can receive. Winning the ‘Fastest Growing Firm in Professional and Financial Services’ was incredible in itself, but to also be announced as the ‘Second Fastest Growing Company in Wales’ was the icing on the SpringTide cake!
Both these awards highlight SpringTide’s exciting growth over the last few years – growing an impressive 609.6% since 2011. Mike Utting only founded the Carmarthen-based business in 2006 and has since been transformed into what the Western Mail has recognised as a “leading specialist in transport procurement”.
This market leading position was underlined by SpringTide being named runner up for the “Best Procurement Consultancy Project of the Year” at the CIPS Supply Management Awards earlier this month; and what an exciting month it’s been.
The team joined the crème de la crème of Welsh businesses at the prestigious awards ceremony held at Cardiff’s Holland House Hotel on Friday. The awards were the perfect setting to celebrate all of SpringTide’s hard work and incredible achievements over a well-deserved glass of bubbly!
Mike believes that SpringTide’s success at the Fast Growth 50 Awards will be the perfect springboard to future growth and development within Wales, and he is looking forward to where the future takes them.
