Business Development Manager
The role of the Business Development Manager will be required to follow up leads from a variety of online and offline channels, developing relationships and communicating SpringTide Consulting’s proposition and strengths to maximise sales. Other requirements of the role include:
- Engaging with existing SpringTide clients, to develop their relationship with SpringTide and create long-term value.
- Managing business development activity across the company, ensuring the timely delivery of proposals, co-ordinating scheduling of meetings and maintaining customer contact.
- Representing the business at relevant industry events
- Working with Marketing function to provide feedback on outcomes, advise on the effectiveness of specific campaigns to drive sales and identify areas for future focus.
- Providing regular reports on progress to the management team
To succeed in this role, the successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Procurement or Supply Chain Management function.
You’ll be comfortable carrying out fact find exercises, identifying sales opportunities and following up on these, and understand how to position the company to maximise sales. It is vital you are commercially astute with attention to detail.
You’ll have a proven track record in business-to-business development and demonstrate experience in engaging positively with senior managers within a business. You will also be abreast of industry and competitor trends within Supply Chain Management.
This role will suit someone who can deliver bottom line results through proactive planning, product and industry knowledge. You must be hungry to earn and have the ability to network for new clients whilst and maximising existing ones.
The successful candidate will be based in the Cannock office but will be required to travel due to the needs of the business so a driver’s license and passport is necessary.
The salary will be between £25,000 – £30,000 depending on experience + Uncapped OTE

Marketing Executive
The Marketing Executive will be involved in developing marketing campaigns to promote SpringTide’s service. It is a varied role that includes planning, advertising, public relations, event organisation, distribution, sponsorship and research.
In addition, the role will involve:
- Liaising and networking with a range of customers, colleagues and suppliers
- Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships
- Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing advertisements in the media – local, regional, national and specialist publications
- Managing the production of marketing materials including leaflets, posters, newsletters etc
- Liaising with designers and printers
- Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials
- Maintaining and updating customer databases
- Organising and attending events such as conferences and exhibitions
- Sourcing and securing sponsorship
- Conducting market research
- Contributing to and developing market plans and strategies
- Evaluating marketing campaigns
- Monitoring competitor activity

NVQ Assessor
The role of the NVQ Assessor is to support people working towards National Vocational Qualifications. They need to ensure that applicants meet the standards needed to achieve these qualifications. These professionals identify skills that people have and focus on areas that they need to improve. They supervise people at work and provide feedback about standards that are not being met in their duties.
NVQ Assessors usually perform many of the following tasks:
- Creating reports about applicants.
- Supervising people on their job.
- Giving advice to candidates.
- Attending meetings with other professionals.
- Testing candidates with non-standard situations.
The NVQ Assessor must have an in-depth knowledge of their particular trade or field with preferably a professional qualification in it as well as an assessing certification such as an A1 or D32. They need to be prepared to travel to the workplaces of course trainees to conduct onsite observations as well as check through evidence portfolios. Successful applicants will need to keep meticulous records of meetings and evaluations and also liaise with trainees’ immediate supervisors
The NVQ Assessor will be required to work a 37 to 40 hour week, but with possible overtime to cater to the needs of the business.

Transport and Procurement Analyst
SpringTide are looking to recruit several Transport and Procurement Analysts due to our rapid growth. The Transport and Procurement Analyst overall purpose will be to provide purchasing support for our consulting team to enable them to provide a professional service to our clients.
The main responsibilities of the Analyst:
- Updating monthly spreadsheets to capture savings achieved within that period
- Populating data into standard spreadsheets and ensuring logic and consistency in the output
- Supply market analysis – contacting embassies, countries and suppliers to establish the number of suppliers, specialization and constraints
- Preparing recommendations to the consultants upon a thorough analysis of the tenders from the supply chain. Using spreadsheets to present findings in a consistent and logical manner
- Prepare and provide reports as directed on a monthly and/or ad hoc basis
