SpringTide are extremely proud to have been short-listed as a finalist in the Procurement Leaders’ World Procurement Awards 2016 for the Procurement Service Provider Award.
Today’s press release:
The World Procurement Awards are the most celebrated and sought after awards in procurement, representing the best projects, people and organisations across the world. They reward the collective efforts of individuals and teams and are an affirmation of the hard work, innovation and dedication of those at the forefront of this dynamic global profession.
This year saw a record number of entries from some of the most influential companies for our 10th anniversary awards. The standard of submissions has dramatically exceeded expectations.
Mark Reed, CPO at AARP and World Procurement Awards judge commented, “I am absolutely blown away by the quality and breadth of the submissions this year. The number of submissions has ballooned, and I’m absolutely amazed by the things that some of the organisations who are members of Procurement Leaders are achieving, it’s incredibly inspiring.”
This year a new judging process has been put in place to ensure complete transparency and rigour through regional face-to face judging. Panels of experts including CPOs from BT, Brose, DBS Bank & E. & J. Gallo Winery came together for the second phase of judging in London and Denver to debate submissions and decide the winners of each category.
The winners will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony on 18 May 2016 at the Intercontinental London, The O2. The ceremony will bring together over 900 of procurement’s elite, and presents the perfect opportunity to benchmark your function and celebrate a decade of procurement excellence.
Congratulations to all finalists and thank you to everyone who took the time to enter. We were overwhelmed with the sheer number of entrants and the evident innovation and passion displayed through these submissions.
Unfortunately we didn’t win on the night, but as you can see, we had a fantastic time in London and are proud to have been shortlisted.
