MCIPS – What now?

The NVQ route to MCIPS has now closed – As of April 30th 2014 NVQ as a route to MCIPS was discontinued.

Why has it closed?

CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) announced that; from April 30th 2014, students registering for NVQs in Supply Chain Management will no longer be eligible for MCIPS upon completion of their studies. After which Edexcel – the awarding body for NVQs in Supply Chain Management announced that the NVQ programme would be discontinued on the same date.

How can I gain MCIPS now?

Although the NVQ route to MCIPS has closed there are still many ways you can to gain MCIPS, these include:

  • CIPS Professional Qualifications
  • Accredited Degree
  • Management Entry Route
  • Corporate Award Programme.
